Hush (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a tinnitus relief and sound‑therapy app. Privacy is built into how Hush works: the app collects no personal information, has no user accounts, runs no analytics or advertising, and uploads nothing about you.
This policy explains, in plain language, what that means.
Hush stores the following locally on your device only, so the app can remember your preferences and show your progress. None of it ever leaves your device or reaches us:
This information is stored in the app’s private storage. If you delete Hush, this data is removed with it. We have no copy and cannot recover it.
If you turn on the optional daily reminder, Hush schedules a local notification on your device. These reminders are created and delivered entirely on your device. No reminder content or schedule is sent to us or any third party.
Hush offers an optional Premium upgrade (a yearly subscription and a one‑time lifetime purchase). All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your name, card number, or other payment details. Apple manages and stores this information under Apple’s Privacy Policy. To verify or restore a purchase, Hush asks Apple’s on‑device StoreKit service about your entitlement; this does not share personal data with us.
Hush does not connect to any servers operated by us. The only network activity is what Apple’s App Store / StoreKit performs to process and restore purchases.
Hush is a general‑audience wellness app and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Hush is a wellness and relaxation app. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical care. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure tinnitus or any condition. If your tinnitus is persistent or distressing, please consult a qualified clinician.
If this policy ever changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and post the revised version at this same address.
